Why is your bottle better than glass?

The known advantage of glass over plastic is that as an inert material, glass does not transfer off-flavors from plastic; yet of all plastic containers, PET bottles act as a new-inert material. Our PET bottle is born right in our plant and is unique in that it contains UV blockers which protect the milk from harmful, ultraviolet light. UV light not only speeds up the growth of off-flavors in milk, but it also breaks down Riboflavin (vitamin B) in a matter of just a few hours of exposure. A PET bottle with UV blockers better protects the nutrient value of milk versus glass packaging.
